Feel the warmth run down your hands,
See the red pooled in the sand.
Hear the pulse begin to fade away,
Smell the prize leak from your prey.
Taste the product of your hatred,
This is the monochrome that you have painted.

All those who banish you will pay,
You crave to be ride of all this gray.

The only way to curb the flood,
Is to coagulate the blood.

Hunger beyond survival, to crave the open wound,
A consciousness you can't control.
Addiction so revolting, of blood to be consumed,
This sanguine prize that you have stole.

You do not crave in darkness, your thirst for all to see,
The path of violence is preferred.
The will to seize a construct, of plain anatomy,
Such cravings cannot be deferred.

I have no need to hide it, this horror that I've made,
I no longer mind this grayscale, I just crave a different shade,
The hue of red I long for, for which we share a need,
Is the last piece I need to give this horrid all-consuming gift of praise to the sanguine.
